Judge Krupp, Suffolk Superior Court Judge, granted Stephen Pina’s Motion for Stay of Execution of Sentence.
Mr. Pina has regained his freedom after been imprisoned for 28 years, wrongly convicted in the State of Massachusetts on the basis of unreliable witness testimony and prosecutorial misconduct.

In the landmark decision to allow Stay of Execution of Sentence, the Justice of the Superior Court reasoned that “Gaines has raised credible issues in connection with the testimony of all three (witnesses)” at his trial.
